Preparation Time :-20 minutes.

Cooking Time :-40 minutes.

Servings :- 4.

Ingredients :-

1 cup yogurt.

1/2 cup flavorless vegetable oil.

1 cup powdered sugar.

1 & 1/2 cup all purpose flour.

1 teaspoon baking powder.

1/2 teaspoon baking soda.

1 teaspoon vanilla extract.

Procedure :-

  1. Add 1 cup fresh yogurt in a large mixing bowl. Beat it little bit with a whisk or spoon.
  2. Add 1/2 cup vegetable oil in that yogurt. Mix well.
  3. Then add powdered sugar and vanilla extract in it. Whisk it till sugar dissolved nicely.
  4. Sift all purpose flour, baking powder and baking soda in a bowl. Add these sifted dry ingredients in curd batter. Mix all ingredients together properly with a spatula.
  5. Grease the cake tin with butter. Dust it with some dry flour. Pour cake batter in that greased cake tin. Bake at 180 degree celsious for 40 minutes till toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Once a cake cooled down completely at room temperature demold it neatly. Then our eggless vanilla cake is ready to serve.

Serving Method :-

Cut the eggless vanilla cake into pieces. Serve at a tea time.

Notes :-

  1. Sift the icing sugar on top for cake frosting.
  2. If the cake batter becomes thick then add 2-3 tablespoons of milk to get required consistency.
  3. Insert toothpick or knife in the center of the cake. If it comes out clean then cake is baked perfectly. If not then again transfer it in oven.
